We made our names with color cookie dough... I thought Aly would love it but she kept on taking hers apart so by the time everyone else was done she ended up with normal cookie shapes. You can tell the ones that I helped on but the kids really did great!!

Eating the master pieces. Not the best tasting cookies but they are fun colors and easy to make and shape.

We did body traces and this is the kids decorating and personalizing their shadows. The boys lost interest pretty quickly, I think Isaiah held on the longest, Josh got a scribble or two on his and Ian didn't even let me trace him, oh well. Of course the girls went to town putting in every detail. Hannah was cute, the first thing she put on was nail polish. Aly LOVES the female company!!

We sang songs, read books, danced, made birthday cakes and had a show and tell. Josh of course had his Lightning McQueen and even sang us the song. Hannah is a great dancer and Ian loved going REALLY fast on "Head, shoulders, knees and toes". Isaiah and Josh loved the books and had a hard time staying seated so that the others could see.
I think it was a successful start! I am excited to work with these kids for the next several months! Three of them will be off to kindergarten all too quickly!
Hannah loves it! Glad she didn't cry the first day!
